Stealing or No?

One of the biggest cases in 2006 was the lawsuit when Rick Ross sued LMFAO group. Rick Ross made a song in 2006, "Hustlin" and LMFAO made "Party Rock Anthem". Rick Ross decided to sue based on his song lyrics "everyday I'm hustlin''" compared to LMFAO lyrics "everyday I'm shufflin'" The Florida judge claimed that the change in words was not stealing at all. This often happens with artists if they don't contact another artist about either sampling their music or similarity in lyrics. The internet nowadays is filled with mashups and recreating videos, music and pictures. It goes back in forth often whether it is aloud to be used our not based on the creative commons law.
